This Silverback Desert Tech SRS A2 Sport features a fully licensed bullpup replica design with a unique CNC engraved serial number on each receiver.
Weighing approximately 2.240 kg, it is 24% lighter than the A1 16″ model, accomplished by using fibre reinforced nylon for the stock and butt pad and avoiding injection moulded metal and zinc alloy parts. All screws are made from 10.9 grade steel.
The rifle is equipped with a two-way aluminium hop-up unit directly attached to the quick-change barrel assembly, allowing barrel swaps in seconds without losing hop-up settings. Adjustments are made via two top-mounted screws accessible with the included key, without removing the barrel, magazine, or optic.
It uses a 6.05 x 420 mm brass inner barrel with AEG-style hop-up rubber, and features a.30 QD muzzle brake fixed on a 14 mm CCW threaded barrel. The rifle includes a lightweight polymer 25-round magazine.
