The Silverback Desert Tech SRS A2 16” Covert airsoft sniper rifle weighs approximately 2.350 kg, making it 24% lighter than the A1 16” Covert model. This reduction in weight results from the elimination of injection moulded metal and zinc alloy parts, with all screws crafted from 10.9 steel for added strength.
The rifle features a fibre-reinforced nylon stock and butt pad, combining durability with lightweight design. Its two-way aluminium hop-up unit is directly attached to the quick-change barrel, allowing barrel swaps within seconds while retaining hop-up settings. Adjustment is made via two screws on top of the receiver using the included key, without the need to remove the barrel, magazine, or optic.
Equipped with a 6.05 x 420 mm AEG-type brass inner barrel and a.30 QD muzzle brake fixed on a 14mm CCW airsoft standard barrel thread, this muzzle brake also has an M24x1 thread compatible with a DTSS silencer. The overall minimum length of the SRS A2 16 Covert is 708 mm.
