This is the first Airsoft sub machine gun from WE – the SMG-8. So – what is it really like? Of course there will be comparisons to the Umarex HK MP7A1 and as that is probably the most successful SMG to date.
So, what better to compare? The SMG-8 is overall only slightly larger but does feel ‘bigger’. Stock folded it is slightly larger yet interestingly with the stock fully extended the MP7 is a few mm longer.
The SMG-8 is slightly heavier and as a three position butt stock as standard whereas this is an upgrade option for the MP7. The 40 round magazines are also larger and slightly heavier.
This gun is of course a full on CQB platform which should also perform perfectly well in woodland/outdoor urban where there is plenty of cover. Also supplied is a flash hider adapter for fitting of silencers etc.
