The TakTak LDAG Gripstop is a rail-mounted grip stop for Picatinny-equipped handguards, providing a positive index point for the thumb-over-bore (TOB) grip technique. The LDAG (Low-Drag Aggressive Grip) Gripstop sits on the underside of the handguard and provides a surface for the support-hand thumb to brace against during a C-clamp or modified TOB hold — the grip technique favoured for rapid target transitions and improved muzzle control in dynamic shooting. Without a gripstop, the handguard offers no positive reference point for the support thumb, leading to inconsistent hand positioning between shots and under rapid movement.
