The Olight PL-PRO Valkyrie is the rechargeable version of the popular PL-2 Valkyrie, and features a higher maximum output of 1500 lumens from the Cree XHP35 HI NW LED. As this is a high drain device, the temperature regulation will automatically drop the brightness to 600 lumens after 1.5 minutes to protect the LED.
The attach and release mounting system has also had a slight upgrade. It still features a swing arm mechanism located on the edge of the torch that when released opens up the mount, but once opened it can now be pushed out to one side to open up the rail mount further, allowing you to easily attach and detach the torch to the gun rail.
Once in position, release the rail mount section and it will tighten around the rail and then close the swing arm and the PL-PRO will be securely fitted to the gun rail. It is designed for handguns with a picantinny rail or a glock style rail and comes with two mount adaptors (1913 and GL) to make it compatible with a wide range of handguns, and the revolutionary designed magnetic pressure switch (sold separately) means the PL-PRO also works well with riffles.
The combination of the Cree XHP35 HI LED and TIR reflector provides a smooth beam that can reach up to a maximum range of 280 metres. It features a central hot spot to enable the beam to go further, but is accompanied by a wide softer spill beam for the perfect all round beam profile.
