The Modify PP-2000 is a ‘dual power’ Submachine Gun, meaning it can happily accept Green Gas or CO2 Magazines, allowing you to either use Green Gas for a simple and easy experience, or CO2 to increase the kick/recoil and cold-weather performance. Made as a 1:1 tribute to the real thing, the PP-2K is exceptionally well constructed and has a number of neat tricks up its sleeve that make it a devastating tool on the Airsoft field. The Gun weighs in at 1.35kg and has a total length of 58.5cm when the Stock is extended. The Steel Stock can be used in the Folded Position to make it very small (35cm), or can be removed completely to use the Gun like a Pistol. This makes it a perfect backup to a Sniper Rifle, or for someone who likes to leave their Primary Rifle under a bush whilst they go off on recon missions with a smaller Gun. With the Stock removed, you can insert a Magazine into the back of the Receiver, ready for quick reloads, or to use it to brace the Gun into your shoulder. To fold the Stock, simply lift the Stock upwards and fold it away, pulling it out to lock it in the open position again. To remove the Stock, press the button on the rear/side of the Receiver and pull the Stock away from the Gun. The top of the PP-2K has a 20mm RIS Rail that can have Sights/Scopes and other 20mm accessories installed. If you don’t want to use a Sight and would rather keep it old-school, then a groove has been left in the rail so that you can effectively use the Ironsights with the Rail installed. The rest of the Fire Controls are straight forward, with a standard magazine release and an interesting looking Fire Selector that offers Safe/Semi/Auto positions. A rear Sling Loop can be utilised for a One Point Sling Setup, to help you carry the Gun and make use of a Sidearm or other equipment at the same time. A 14mm CCW Thread can be found underneath the Flash Hider, for the installation of Suppressors, Tracer Units and other Muzzle Devices. Simply remove the Grub Screw from the underside of the Flash Hider and unscrew it to reveal the thread. The Modify PP-2K can also accept a proprietary/dedicated Flashlight unit, available from Modify. Internally, the performance is bolstered by a 150mm Hardened and Anodised Inner Barrel, as well as the newest ‘Predator’ HOP UP Bucking from Modify, which lends itself to a great air-seal and accuracy. The Trigger is a tough Steel design with a comfortable groove cut out for your finger, and the Nozzle has an enlarged opening to improve recoil. The Charging Handle is an Ambidextrous design, and can be folded to either side of the Gun with no modification required. The package is neatly presented inside it’s own Hard Case, with 2 x Locking Tabs and Padlock Holes to secure the Case. The Hard Case has a bottom layer of Pick and Pluck Foam, allowing you to carve out slots for your equipment, whilst the top layer is Egg Shell Foam to hold the contents of the case securely, preventing scratches and damage. Also included is a 21rnd Gas Magazine, User Manual, PVC Patches, and Modify Sticker.
