The KWA M-101 Hi Torque Spur Gear (101) is a hardened replacement gear designed for KWA electric recoil platforms that need dependable drivetrain strength under higher load. It is suited to older PTS Magpul ERG Scout and CQB models, plus some earlier RM4A1 variants, where durability and correct fit matter.
The KWA M-101 Hi Torque Spur Gear (101) is a purpose-built internal upgrade and replacement part for selected KWA recoil AEG platforms. Made as a hardened high torque gear, it is designed to handle the added pressure that comes with torque-focused builds while helping maintain smooth, consistent gearbox operation.
In practical use, that means a gear set better suited to the stresses of repeated skirmish use, especially in rifles running the older KWA electric recoil system. For players keeping an older PTS Magpul ERG Scout or CQB running properly, this spur gear offers a direct, model-specific solution rather than a generic gearbox part.
Fitment is the key detail here. This gear will fit older Magpul ERG models and some earlier versions of the RM4A1, but it will not fit the newer RM4 Series, including the RM4A1 and RM4 Ronin. It is also not suitable for AEG 3 setups with an SLE, upgraded motor and the newer higher speed gear configuration, so it is worth confirming your rifle version before ordering.
