The FBS Thermobaric grenade is a friction-activated single-use pyro device that creates a dazzling bright flash combined with a low-volume boom. Its compact operation involves shaking the device, twisting off the cap, and striking the exposed fuse like a safety match.
After a 7-second delay, the device bursts with intense light while maintaining a lower sound output, measured at 124 dB(A) from 5 metres, making it suitable for night or indoor game scenarios where managing noise levels is important. It has a recommended safety distance of 5 metres and is intended for users aged 18 and over.
