Compatibility & Upgrades

The Double Eagle M85 uses standard AEG internals and accepts common upgrade components. You can install compatible aftermarket hop-up units, barrels, and gearbox parts to tune performance over time. Standard AEG batteries (9.6 V or 11.1 V LiPo) power the rifle; always use appropriate chargers and follow safe battery handling. For skirmish play, use 0.20 g BBs for initial chronographing, then step up to 0.25 g or 0.28 g BBs to reduce wind drift in outdoor UK sites.
