The Double Bell Ver.2 Gearbox Shell is a replacement gearbox housing for V2 (Version 2) AEG gearbox builds. The V2 gearbox is the standard gearbox format for M4, M16, FAMAS, and other mid-length AEG platforms — one of the most common AEG gearbox types in the airsoft market. The gearbox shell is the structural housing that contains the sector gear, spur gear, bevel gear, spring guide, piston, cylinder, and motor connections — if the shell cracks or strips a thread due to over-torque, high spring load, or impact, the entire gearbox becomes non-functional.
Replacement shells allow gearbox rebuild without sourcing a complete new gearbox assembly.
