Bottle O-Ring – HPA Tank / Regulator Seal
The Bottle O-Ring is the replacement sealing O-ring for the connection between an HPA tank bottle and its regulator. This O-ring sits in the seating groove at the neck of the HPA bottle where the regulator threads on — it provides the airtight seal between the bottle and regulator under HPA operating pressure. When this O-ring fails through wear, damage, or exposure to lubricants or heat, the seal between the bottle and regulator degrades — resulting in a slow or fast gas leak from the bottle/regulator interface, audible as a hissing or felt as pressure loss even when the tank valve is open.
Bottle O-rings are a consumable maintenance item — they should be inspected at each tank fill and replaced when showing signs of deformation, cracking, or compression set. A spare bottle O-ring in your kit bag is standard HPA maintenance practice. Verify the O-ring dimensions match your HPA bottle thread specification before purchase.
