The Maxx ARC-1 HPA Airsoft Rifle – Grey/Black is a high-end HPA airsoft rifle designed for players who want a lightweight, highly tunable platform with a clean, modern layout. Machined from aircraft-grade T6 aluminium, it has a precise, rigid feel in the hands while keeping overall handling sharp and responsive for aggressive skirmish play.
At the heart of the ARC-1 is Maxx’s proprietary hoseless bolt drive system, which helps deliver excellent efficiency from your air supply without adding unnecessary complexity to the build. In practical use, that means less wasted air, stable performance and a rifle that feels quick on the trigger. Running at around 100 PSI for 1.2 joules with 0.20g BBs, it is clearly aimed at players who want a refined HPA setup rather than a generic conversion.
The shooting package is built around a 155mm 6.03mm tight bore barrel and an easy-adjust flywheel hop-up unit that accepts industry-standard buckings and barrels. That gives you useful flexibility if you already run preferred hop rubbers or barrel combinations, while making on-field tuning simple. The hop-up is also interchangeable with the Maxx M1 hop-up system, which will appeal to players already invested in Maxx internals.
User control is one of the ARC-1’s standout strengths. The high-pressure regulator sits in the grip frame for accessible adjustment and strong flow at low-pressure operation, while the integrated on/off ASA makes bottle fitting and degassing quicker and safer. A fully adjustable trigger lets you fine-tune pre-travel and post-travel to suit your shooting style, and the magnetic interchangeable trigger face system allows tool-free trigger changes. With an ambidextrous magazine release, detachable trigger guard for blade-style triggers and a physical switch for safety or trigger trainer mode, the platform feels purpose-built for players who want fast handling without compromise.
Maintenance is equally well thought through. The tool-less outer barrel and body take-down design gives easy access to the hop-up components and bolt, which makes routine cleaning, inspection and field stripping far more convenient than many comparable systems. For regular skirmishers, that translates to less downtime and less hassle between game days.
This rifle requires a 350 to 550 PSI output regulator and air tank to function correctly, and exceeding 550 PSI can damage the system. Maxx recommends a Ninja Ultralite, Pro V2 or Pro V3 set to the lowest output setting, while the Ninja SLP is not suitable for this platform. If you are building out a complete HPA setup, it is worth looking at compatible HPA tanks and regulators, along with quality hop rubbers and inner barrels to get the most from the ARC-1.
For players who want a premium, competition-focused HPA rifle with excellent air efficiency, refined controls and easy maintenance, the ARC-1 is ready for serious game use.
